What's the opportunity?

We're looking for a Junior Marketing Executive who will take Hey Oliver's web presence to the next level by shaping our growth strategy, including significantly accelerating our campaigns and finding new distribution channels for our content. We are looking for an audience builder who can manage accounts and drive the next stage of our growth by increasing awareness and engagement among our target segments and clients. The successful candidate will obsess over growing our audience, our leads and ultimately our paying customers

What will I be doing?

  • create awareness of and develop the brand you're marketing
  • communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
  • help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
  • support the marketing manager in delivering agreed activities
  • conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external
  • source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press
  • work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts
  • write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • produce creative content, including blog posts
  • run social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement
  • organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • source and secure sponsorship
  • maintain and update customer databases

What skills do I need?

  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal, required
  • Hands on understanding of Google Analytics and Google AdWords
  • Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function
  • Preferably experience working in a B2B environment, but not essential
  • Experienced in content writing
  • Must have proficient computer skills
  • Time management
  • Capacity to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Great research and organisational skills
  • Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire for continued growth and learning
